Viscoelastic V-type foams – this product is characterized by low elasticity, quite high basis weight and long recovery time after compression. This feature results in unique properties consisting in an accurate mapping of the shape on the foam, which very slowly disappears after removing the pressure factor. The product is often called thermo elastic foam, because its parameters are closely correlated with the ambient temperature. The change in hardness is particularly felt. This type of foam is often used in combination with other foams on furniture seats, in high-quality mattress systems and toppers, as well as in the medical industry for the production of specialist anti-bedsore mattresses.
